The FAA Flying Club has another IFR rated pilot! Sergio Nirenberg, our Club Secretary, successfully passed his IFR checkride yesterday. These checkrides are normally stressful, but Sergio experienced a little “added stress” when he was notified the night before his checkride that N75382 had an unscheduled maintenance reservation on the day of his practical test. Club members rallied around Sergio to troubleshoot the potential issue the night before and the morning of his checkride so that Sergio could fly the airplane that he has trained in and is comfortable in.

Congratulations, Sergio, on this great accomplishment! A whole new world is now open to you!
