AS OF: October 1, 2022
All new members are charged a $1,500 deposit, which is non-refundable. This deposit shall be used to cover unpaid dues, emergency maintenance, damage costs, or equipment upgrades deemed necessary by the Board of Directors.
Member dues of $125 are charged monthly to all active members and are used to cover the fixed costs of operating the Club such as tie down fees, hangar fees, insurance, and other administrative costs.
Hourly usage rates:
- The rate for N75382 (PA-28-151) is $130/tach hour wet (includes fuel and oil).
- The rate for N6472J (PA-28-180) is $130/tach hour wet (includes fuel and oil).
- The rate for N9397W (PA-28-235) is $150/tach hour wet (includes fuel and oil).
Tachometer time is based on engine RPM settings which often elapses more slowly than actual time (e.g., taxiing, idling, approaches). Typically, this works out to $85-90 per hour of Hobbs or actual time using the PA-28-151 as an example.
To maintain currency, active members are expected to fly a minimum of 12 hours annually. Active members are billed for one hour of aircraft usage for N75382 ($130) monthly. If not used that month, it will be credited to your account until you use it. For example, if you didn’t fly for six months, you would have six hours of usage credit on your account.
Members are responsible for refueling the airplane at the end of each flight. The club uses APP Jet Center for fuel at Manassas Regional Airport and they are open 24 hours 7 days a week. APP Jet Center bills the club directly for fuel and oil purchases. For fuel purchased by members on cross-country flights, the Club reimburses members at the amount paid (receipts are required for reimbursement).
