We welcome applications from pilots of all experience types. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, with strong preference for applicants that hold at least a private pilot certificate for airplane single engine land (PPL ASEL). Additionally, applicants must complete the DC Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA) special awareness training which is offered by FAAST.

Please send a scanned copy of the following documents to faafc.membership@gmail.com:

  1. Your Pilot Certificate
  2. Your Medical Certificate or BasicMed completion certificate (NOT THE CMEC!)
  3. Your photo ID
  4. Your SFRA completion certificate
