So far EAA AirVenture 2019 is living up to it’s name! Our members, Mike and Tom, made it safely to Oshkosh and successfully navigated the mass arrival for the Piper Cherokees. They became the only group to arrive en masse on Saturday due to the weather and logical issues caused by the storms. They have set up camp with our Piper Cherokee Warrior on the grass at KOSH.
Despite a couple of thunderstorms that delivered downpours that have caused weather delays and temporarily closed campsites and limited parking of aircraft on the grass to bush planes with tundra tires, it looks like the guys are having fun!
Keep the updates and photos coming, Mike and Tom! Stay safe and have a great time!
