I’ve always loved aviation and that love was the reason I joined the Air Force in 1986.  Being around planes was enough and I never really thought of flying aircraft myself, in fact, I was terrified on every commercial flight I was on, but always confident in the military pilots and plans (until my tour at the 8th Fighter Wing at Kunsan).  I flew on the E-4B as a security team member in 1988 and 89 and flew a T-38 in my ROTC JETO day.

In 2009, I retired from the Air Force and got the bug to fly taking my first adventure flight on September 11, 2011 through Aviation Adventures at HEF.  I’ve been hooked ever since.  It’s like an E-ticket at Disneyland every flight.  I have a little over 200 hours and am working on my IFR rating.  I plan to get my Commercial and CFI by year’s end.

I am very excited about being a member of the FAA flying club and hope to establish many friendships with my fellow members.  I do work full time as a member of the DoD civil service as the Asst Director for Investigations and Intelligence at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency.  I live in Manassas with my wife and three boys.
